We had a special treat before Christmas! MiMi was able to fly into Jackson and spend a few days with us at the lake before she went to Columbus. The holidays are always full of hustle and bussell so it was nice to have a few days to just relax and visit with my mama. She was then able to go to Columbus and have a few days with my sister and her girls before all the festivities began. I know she enjoyed this time with her grand babies. We thank you Chuck for sharing this year at Christmas.

Let the Christmas Festivities begin
We had our first Christmas celebration at Papa and Granny's house in Valley Park. We especially love going to Papa and Granny's for Granny's cooking! She is amazing in the kitchen and we eat until we cannot move! We usually have to rush off after opening presents to get to Columbus, but since we celebrated with them the weekend before, we were able to enjoy our time with everyone. We didn't get a lot of pictures. There was lots of action between 2 babies and 3 pre-teen boys! Also, Audrey Grace is serious about her bedtime and when she isn't in the bed on time she lets us know about it.

A visit with Charlie
My home town best friend, Emily, has a baby, Charlie. He has made the blog before, so you may remember him. He and Audrey Grace are about 7 weeks apart. One weekend when we were in Southaven, we went to Tunica for a visit. It is so fun to see babies interact with each other. They just stare and want to touch like what in the world is that

Football and Birthday Party
Luke and Kelley came to visit us at the lake! We were so excited they decided to come see us. We used to see them a good bit when we lived in Southaven and have really missed getting to hang out with them. We watched football and ate all day. The bulldogs played that night, so of course we had to put on our bulldog gear and get some pictures before bed. Poor Audrey Grace is going to be so confused... she has Ole Miss and Mississippi State attire. We have to make the whole family happy!

6 months old!
Well, once again I have fallen behind on blogging. Living at the lake has really put a damper on my blogging. The internet doesn't always work great. I can usually browse online but to download pictures...not happening. Audrey Grace is really growing up and changing so fast. She turned 6 months old on November 24th. Her major accomplishments for the month have been mastering sitting up by herself and starting to eat baby food!So far we have tried carrots, sweet potatoes and squash. Squash is her favorite. The sweet potatoes are not so sweet on her tummy. She still loves to play in her exerscaucer but she likes to be on the floor sitting up or on her tummy playing with her toys. She really is such a happy baby. She usually has a smile on her face. She knows how to travel and has learned to sleep anywhere! I feel sorry for her because I drag her all over the place.
Audrey Grace had her first and second sick visit to the doctor Thanksgiving week. She had a cold that she had been fighting for about 2 weeks, so I decided to take her in. She did have a little fluid on her right ear so she was given amoxicillin and some cough medicine. She did really well taking her medicine. Thanksgiving night was awful...she woke up screaming. A scream I had never heard from her before. Her tummy was hurting her so bad and all she wanted to do was sleep. It was pitiful. The whole night was awful and the next day wasn't much better. Saturday I took her back to the doctor. They took her off all meds and told me to give her pedialyte only for 12 hours. Yeah right. She was feeling so much better by this time and wanted nothing to do with Pedialyte. We made it thru and she was completely back to her happy, playful self by Sunday
