Gone Visiting

2 weekends ago, we made a trip to north Mississippi to see my grandparents and check on our house in Southaven. Audrey Grace and I left on Thursday and went to Clarksdale to spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a special day, because we got to spend it with my grandpa on his birthday!

Audrey Grace talking to Grandma

This picture cracks me up. My grandmother has pictures of my 3 neices and my sister Allie on a side table. Audrey Grace pulled up and was looking at them and talking to all of them. She took the picture of Laura Lea and sat down and started talking to her picture. Then she leaned it up to her face like she was loving on it. It was so funny and sweet. I don't know if she knew what she was doing but we thought it was GREAT!

Taking a stroll with Grandpa

Audrey Grace and I loaded up on Friday and headed to Southaven to check on our house. It is still there, so pretty and partially full of our stuff. I still get emotional when I go back. We really are settling in good, but it is just sad to go to a beautiful house with your stuff in it. I guess it doesn't help either that we pay a mortage on a house we don't even live in! I wish we could pick it up and move it here! Oh well, the right people will come along sooner or later.

After roaming around every room in the house and talking to Audrey Grace about it, we went and visited my old work. I really do miss the people I used to work with. You know, being pregnant is a major milestone in your life, and I shared it with these people. It was great to see them all again and let them see Audrey Grace again. She was so sweet and tolerated everyone loving on her.

Ryan met us there Friday night and we went and spent the night with Luke and Kelley on Mud Island. We used to get to see Luke and Kelley so often and now we never see them, so it was really nice to have a laid back night hanging out with them.

Saturday morning Audrey Grace and I strolled over to my friend's Kristi and Brian Chopin's house. They had a precious baby boy, Bryce, in January. This was our first time to meet him and he is so precious. You really do forget how small and helpless little babies are. When we got there he was awake, so I got to hold him and he talked and cooed at me. Audrey Grace looked at him but wasn't real impressed. She wanted out of the stroller so she could destroy their den! Of course, as I say all the time I feel like, I didn't take my camera, so I have no pics to share.

After our visit, we went back to Southaven to get a load of stuff to bring back to Vicksburg. I am so happy to have even more of our things at our house. It is all coming together, slowly but surely.
