Thanksgiving

I am sad to say that this is the only picture I took on Thanksgiving Day...and it was with my phone.

We were so busy running between The Lake, Valley Park and Jackson for Thanksgiving that I did not take the first picture. I also had my first ever bladder infection and was not feeling the best either. As we were finishing up Thanksgiving dinner in Jackson, I looked over and saw Audrey Grace getting into the dog cage. Gross, I know, but I grabbed my phone to take a picture because she thought it was hilarious!
P.S. Her turkey dress or as she says (goggle goggle) was too cute!

Leaves!

We had the most beautiful tree full of yellow leaves this fall. I could not get the lighting right to show you just how beautiful the tree was, but we got some pictures playing in them.

Luke came to visit

After our picture session we went to The Rowland's to pick up Luke. He came and spent the night with us and he and Ryan watched LOTS of football. We enjoyed visiting with Luke, but Audrey Grace seemed to be smitten with him. They colored, read books and played peek a boo of course because this is Audrey Grace's favorite game!

Pictures

The first weekend in November, we had some professional pictures taken. We can never seem to get any family pictures and Audrey Grace NEVER smiles for the camera so I was hoping to get some good pictures. Well, my hopes were too high. It was Freezing outside and the photographer wanted to do early morning (for the lighting). We were outside about 15 minutes and AG's lips started turning blue! She was miserable so she was for sure not going to smile now. At least I didn't have to spend a fortune That is my positive outlook on the situation anyway! Here are a few of the pictures I was able to save on my computer.

This is one of my favorites!

You can see her lips turning blue :( poor baby

More October Fun

I can not leave out our play date with Anne Bailey or Layton's 3rd birthday party! We went to Columbus to join the Sharp's for Fallapalooza (which I have no pictures from) and Angelia and Anne Bailey came over for the afternoon to play at the park. Audrey Grace and Anne Bailey had so much fun running all over the park and playing. My nieces came with us and we had a Wendy's picnic while we enjoyed the beautiful day.

This is FUN!

Thirsty after playing so hard

I also cannot forget our first trip to the ER. We picked AG up from daycare and about 20 minutes into our trip, Annie made the comment that AG seemed to not be using her left arm. Sure enough, AG was not happy about moving or having her left arm moved. We pulled over and checked her out, but decided to head on to Columbus so my sister could check it out. Long story short, we took her to the ER and after xrays, found out AG had Nurse Maid Elbow. This is evidently pretty common in children around 2. It is when the elbow comes out of socket (dislocated) from her arm being pulled on. The Nurse Practitioner in the ER had to put it back in place. Audrey Grace was a trooper though. She really never cried unless you moved her arm a certain way and when she popped it back in. Within 5 minutes she was back to her old self again!

In the ER eating a Happy Meal! You can tell she has her left arm just resting on her leg.

Layton Lee had his 3rd birthday party "On the Farm". We dressed up in our Cow dress and had so much fun playing outside. Mary Morgan and Kennedy were there to play too. Audrey Grace was too little for the bouncy house but that didn't slow her down from having fun !

MiMi and Audrey Grace checking out the goat. He was kinda scary so we didn't get too close.

October

We had a busy October between the State Fair in Jackson, Balloon Fest in Natchez and Halloween! Audrey Grace went to the State Fair with Bop (Ryan's dad) this year. He always takes our nephews, but this year Audrey Grace got to go to. They went on a Monday, so Ryan and I worked and then went and got her. She had so much fun with her Bop and "the boys". She loved riding the carousel. We also rode a few other rides but the Carousel was by far her favorite. Mr. Butch took pictures but I don't have them. I took my camera but only took 1 picture because my card was full.

The one picture we took...

Our next outing was to the Balloon Fest in Natchez, MS. This was our first time to go and we will definitely be going back! We had such and great time with good company. We went with our neighbors, The Ferrell's. We listened to music, ate yummy "fair food" and played hard while we waited on the balloons to fly. I was really blown away at how pretty the balloons were and how they just pop out from everywhere.

Dancing!

Watching the balloon with Daddy. I think this is such a sweet picture.
Yea! Clapping at the balloons

Katie, Frances and Neil Ferrell

After the balloons we went to Fat Mama's to eat and get a Margarita. Frances and Audrey Grace were playing peek a boo thru the chair.

Audrey Grace's second Halloween was so much FUN! She was the cutest tutu pumpkin I have ever seen and had so much fun running around in her costume. Our neighborhood is the perfect neighborhood for trick or treating! We trick or treated with The Ferrell's. We put the girls in the wagon and off we went. We only took them to a few houses but they loved holding their bag out for candy. After trick or treating we had some of the neighbors over for Chili!

Ready to go!

I was trying to take her picture with Frankenstein, but she is too busy for picture taking

Catch Up!

WOW! It has really been over 2 months since I have blogged! I can't believe I have fallen so far behind. Actually, I can. I have been learning how to juggle working full time and being a mom. I know most people do this everyday but I feel so overwhelmed. I love my new job as a home health nurse but I love my job as a mom even more! I also have to make room for the most incredible husband/dad in the world, because without him I really would be CRAZY! We have been busy the last 2 months, soI will play catch up and then hopefully stay on top!
